House Of Alva
Our Kantha scarves are handmade lovingly by our women artisans of The Sewing Project, a non-profit women's society providing livelihoods trainings to women in semi-rural Unnao, Uttar Pradesh, India. Each scarf takes at least 15 days to create. The scarves are one of a kind - panels of saris are embroidered together creating a one of a kind scarf in the entire world! No two scarves are alike, a unique fashion statement.
Colors of Diwali - sparkly and festive. This stunning scarf is the perfect amount of glamor mixed with tradition.
This scarf has been made by talented Neeta. Neeta is soft-spoken and resilient homemaker, mother and a budding entrepreneur. Neeta is being trained at The Sewing Project as a seamstress. Neeta makes her living through sewing, stitching and embroidery.
